The match against Senegal will likely determine whether Harambee Stars will progress to the knockout phase of the Africa Cup of Nations finals or not. Matasi will have to be 100% focused and avoid any mistakes which might cost the team.

  • Joseph Okumu of Kenya during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Finals football match between Algeria.

    Joseph Okumu

The youngster has been given a chance to feature for Harambee Stars and has grabbed it with both hands; however, he will have to give his best against Senegal and ensure he stops the attackers from getting into the channels and threatening the goal.

  • Victor Wanyama of Harambee Stars and Kenya.J

    Victor Wanyama

The captain has led by example in the past two games and proved his doubters wrong. This is the time it matters most and  ‘Big Vic’ has to lead his teammates by example once again. He has to run things in the midfield and help the defenders keep Senegal's star-studded attack at bay.

  • Johanna Omollo of Harambee Stars.

    Johanna Omollo

He was handed a start against Tanzania and proved he is good enough for the Sebastien Migne coached team as he battled well and also scored the second goal for Kenya. Omollo has to coordinate well with his captain (Victor Wanyama) and ensure Senegal do not find it easy in the middle.

  • Michael Olunga of Kenya celebrates goal with John Avire.

    Michael Olunga

Olunga was the reason why Kenya bagged maximum points against East African neighbours Taifa Stars; his two goals were well taken. That is the killer instinct that Kenyans wanted against The Lions of Teranga and if provided with the service, Olunga's contribution will be vital for Kenya getting a good result.
