    It was a tight one between him and Fredrick Odhiambo of Gor Mahia, but the Sharks keeper came through. He was on top form against Sofapaka, making a number of world class saves to deny Batoto ba Mungu.

    #2 Right back - Nizigiyimana - Gor Mahia

    Was on song against AFC Leopards in the Mashemeji Derby. Made crucial interceptions to stop the opponents from scoring. He provided a pass from which Boniface Omondi created an assist that Bernard Ondiek scored.

    #3 Left back - Bolton Omwenga - Sharks

    He was very impressive against Batoto ba Mungu and handled anything thrown at him with ease. Created several scoring chances for his team as well from set pieces and crosses, but the most vital part was his good defending.

    The second week in a row Ambulwa is making it to the Team of the Week. He marshaled the defense well, winning most aerial duels as well as the most fifty/fifty challenges. A perfect defender for Nakumatt.

    Facing AFC Leopards attackers and stopping them on their tracks was never going to be an easy task. However, the former Sofapaka defender did well, and managed to partner Charles Momanyi effectively.

    #6 Holding midfielder - Okeyo - Gor Mahia

    The former Tusker FC player ensured K’Ogalo midfield remained intact and controlled the proceedings especially in the first half. He was easy at times but could also make tackles when situation called for it.

    He gave everything against Zoo Kericho, managed to create several chances, but the notable one was an assist for Roy Okal. He released the ball just on time to beat the offside trap for his colleague to score.

    The former Gor Mahia star was in the mood last weekend. Showed his class against Posta Rangers and managed to create an assist from which Amani Kayata scored. Controlled the game well and helped the shoppers settle fast.

    The winger terrorized Nzoia Sugar players from the start, and at times it was Eliakim Mangala who was called into action to deny him. It was a match that he was unfortunate not to score, but his crosses, and chances creation was excellent.

    Was involved in all Gor Mahia goals on Saturday in the Mashemeji Derby. In the first one, he did well to go past several defenders before unleashing an unstoppable shot past Ezekiel Owade. The second, he kept his cool to set Bernard Ondiek.

    Was on top form against Mathare United, and unlucky not to score a brace thanks to excellent saves by keeper David Okello. Managed to create an assist for his team to get a point against the ‘slum boys’.
