Kenya v Tanzania in Chan qualifier.
Goal parades the players the Taifa Stars will rely on when they face off with the Harambee Stars in the return leg of their Chan qualifier on Sunday

  • Juma Kaseja of Tanzania.

    Juma Kaseja

He was drafted to start in place of the injured Aishi Manula in goal, and was not troubled much owing to Kenya's cautious approach during the first leg. In Kenya, however, Kaseja is expected to be the busiest of the two custodians and will be required to pull off vital saves to help the Taifa Stars to advance to the next round.
  • Erasto Nyoni of Tanzania during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Finals match between Kenya.

    Erasto Nyoni

Just like his custodian Kaseja, Nyoni has to be alert to ensure the Harambee Stars attackers do not invade their defensive area. Good organisation at the back will be key for his team. He will also have to help in building up play from the back.
  • Kelvin Yondani of Tanzania during the Africa Cup of Nations 2019 Finals.

    Kelvin Yondani

Yondani will have to form a formidable partnership with Nyoni at the heart of the Tanzania defence, reading the Kenyan moves and ensuring they do not give the attackers room to shoot. The visitors' backline must be ready to contain the pressure from the hosts.
  • Mudathir Yahya of Tanzania and Andy Delort of Algeria.

    Mudathir Yahya

The midfielder has to run the show to give his team a good chance of winning the return leg. It will, however, not be easy: he has to command the department well and work closely with his partner to stand a chance of dominating and getting the much-needed goals and a ticket to the next stage.
  • John Bocco of Tanzania during the Africa Cup of Nations 2019 Finals.

    John Bocco

The captain of the Taifa Stars was wasteful in the first leg but this time around there is no room for mistakes. Bocco has to try and get the ball in the back of the net to help his team get either a scoring draw or a win. His vast experience in such competitions will be required more than ever.
