Which players have Cambodia picked for the 2022 AFF Championship?

Cambodia have been paired with Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines and tournament favourites Thailand in Group A of the 2022 AFF Championship.

The Angkor Warriors came fourth in their section in last year's tournament, behind Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia and will look to do better this time around.

Cambodia kick off their AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 against Malaysia on December 9.

Who has coach Keisuke Honda selected in his 24-man squad and which players will make their starting XI?

Let's take a look at the available options!

  • Hul Kimhuy (Cambodia)

The battle for the goalkeeping spot will likely be between Keo Soksela and Kimhuy Hul, with the former the slightly more experienced of the duo.

Third choice Vireak Dara, meanwhile, is yet to play a senior international game for Cambodia.

Cambodia XI (5-3-2): Keo Soksela, Seut Baraing, Choun Chanchav, Tes Sambath, Visal Soeuy, Krya Sareth; Thierry Bin, Orn Chanpolin, Sos Suhana; Sieng Chanthea, Keo Sokpheng

  • Chan Vathanaka - Cambodia

As with every major tournament, there are always high-profile names who miss out for whatever reason and the AFF Cup is no exception.

Cambodia will have to make do without the services of star attacker Chan Vathanaka due to injury, while Prak Mony Udom won't be there either.
