Andre Ayew - Ghana
Cameroon will take on Ghana in their second Afcon Group F game on Saturday. Goal looks at the key players who could decide the outcome of the game

  • Jordan Ayew - Ghana

    #1 Jordan Ayew

The 27-year-old Crystal Palace man delivered an impressive performance for Ghana in their 2-2 draw against Benin in their opening Group F game. Jordan found the back of the net to hand his side the lead before the Squirrels clawed their way back. He will be a key figure to the Black Stars’ quest for victory against champions Cameroon.

  • Stephane Bahoken - Cameroon

    #2 Stephane Bahoken

The 27-year-old striker who bagged 11 goals for Anger last season replicated the brilliant performance for Cameroon against Guinea-Bissau in their Afcon opening game. Bahoken found the back of the net to help the Indomitable Lions to a 2-0 victory against the African Wild Dog.

The striker will be expected to do the damage once again against the Black Stars as Clarence Seedorf’s men seek to secure early qualification to the Round of 16.

  • Andre Ayew Ghana 2019

    #3 Andre Ayew

The 29-year-old was named the captain of Ghana at the start of the 2019 Afcon campaign and proved a worthy leader against Benin in their opening game. The Fenerbahce man gave the Black Stars the lead with only nine minutes into the game. Andre will be expected to sparkle against the Indomitable Lions.
  • Karl Toko Ekambi Cameroon 2019

    #4 Karl Toko Ekambi

The forward was one of the best performers for Villarreal last season as they finished 14th in the Spanish LaLiga, scoring 21 goals across all competitions. Although he is yet to announce himself with goals, he remains a key decider in the outcome of the game against the Black Stars.

  • Christian Atsu and Thomas Partey - Ghana

    #5 Thomas Partey

The Atletico Madrid star played a pivotal role in Ghana’s opening game against Benin, helping them to recover a number of balls in the encounter. He will be expected to dictate the pace in the midfield when his side slug it out with Cameroon in the all-West African clash.

  • Christian Bassogog Cameroon

    #6 Christian Bassogog

The 23-year-old is one of the danger men to watch out for in this contest. The attacker has scored four goals in 12 appearances for Henan Jianye in the current Chinese Super League season. Cameroon will look to him to provide the goals as they aim to secure victory against the Black Stars.
