"First, I thank my players for the job well done, it was a big match with tension but we played well. We have been training hard last week and it reflected on the pitch, we did what we have been doing in training. It was all about concentration from the start to the end," Ze Maria told Goal after the match.

"We came with a winning mentality, prepared to go home with maximum points and I am happy; especially with the way my players pressed them (Leopards)."

Gor Mahia will now take on Chemelil Sugar in their next match hoping to register another win.
