Zambian teacher Janny Sikazwe handed Harambee Stars v Ghana duty

A Zambian teacher will officiate the much awaited Harambee Stars versus Ghana Afcon qualifying match on Saturday.

Janny Sikazwe has been picked by the Confederation of African Football to officiate the game at Kasarani with assistance from compatriots Oliver Gift Mweene and Kabwe Chansa.

Sikazwe will bring his expertise gained during the Fifa World Cup, where he became the first Zambian to officiate in a Fifa World Cup after taking charge in the match between Belgium and Panama on June 18.

The 39-year-old whistle blower, also officiated at the 2017 African Cup of Nations finals in Gabon to add to his 2016 experience gained during the 2016 Fifa Club World Cup final in Japan.

Wisdom Chewe is set to be the fourth official while Jean-Albert Rollin from Reunion will be the Match Commissioner. The match day tickets will retail at Sh200 regular and Sh1, 000 for VIP.
