Harry Kane is the new 6/4 (2.50) favourite to be the World Cup top scorer after netting a hat-trick in England’s 6-1 win over Panama.

Kane scored two first half penalties as the Three Lions took a 5-0 lead into half-time before the Tottenham man accidentally deflected Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s wayward shot with his heels to complete his treble.

John Stones also bagged a brace for England, with Jesse Lingard scoring the pick of the goals with a long-range shot in the first half.

Kane now has five goals in the tournament following his brace against Tunisia in England’s opening match, putting him ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku who each have four.

The Portugal superstar is now out at 5/2 (3.50) with dabblebet, although that may change as early as Monday night when the Iberian side are in action against Iran in their final Group B clash.

Lukaku, who scored two goals for Belgium as they demolished Tunisia 5-2 on Saturday afternoon, is 4/1 (5.0) although he may miss his country’s crucial clash against England after picking up a knock.

Diego Costa can be backed at 6/1 (7.0) to take the Golden Boot after netting three times in Spain’s opening matches, with Neymar some way behind him at 18/1 (19.0).

England have now claimed two wins from their opening two World Cup matches for just the third time in their history and have shortened to 10/1 (11.0) to win the tournament.

Gareth Southgate’s men sit top of Group G ahead of Belgium by virtue of having received fewer yellow cards than Belgium and are currently 17/10 (2.70) favourites to get three points when the sides meet on Thursday.

The Red Devils are 9/5 (2.80) in latest odds from dabblebet, with the draw at 11/5 (3.20) - a result that would mean the group winner goes down to fair play points or potentially a drawing of lots.
