Despite defeating Ulinzi Stars 4-1 in the semi-finals of the Shield Cup, Kariobangi Sharks head coach William Muluya says there is a lot his team has to do.

The youthful tactician says an assessment will be done objectively with an aim of improving in the final. “It was a good display against Ulinzi Stars, we managed to get the result we needed to qualify for the finals.

“However, qualifying for the finals does not mean that we are already there, that we have won the competition. We will have to go and asses our performance and see where our problem was and work on it. We will also asses our strong points and improve more on them.

“We are happy for making it to the finals, and it just shows how much we have improved over the years,” Muluya told Goal.

Sharks will now face Sofapaka in the finals hoping to represent the country in Caf Confederation Cup next season.
