Whyvonne Isuza: AFC Leopards were 'very unfortunate' to lose to Gor Mahia

AFC Leopards fell to Gor Mahia in a Kenyan Premier League derby played at Kasarani Stadium on Sunday.

Jacques Tuyisenge and George Odhiambo reduced Whyvonne Isuza's strike to a mere consolation as the Kenyan champions extended their unbeaten run to twenty matches this season.

The former Mathare United man is disappointed with the outcome but says his team has to get over the result and move on. “It was not the way we wanted, we were really looking forward to get a positive result.

"We played well, did most of the things right apart from a few mistakes that cost us. However, it is gone, no matter how hurting it is, we have to focus on the forthcoming assignments.

“We are still targeting top three positions by the end of the season and we believe we can hit that target,” Isuza, who scored a beauty, told Goal.

Ingwe have not won against K’Ogalo in the league, in the last two seasons, losing twice and drawing once.
