However, games involving Pakistan will take place in Sri Lanka as a neutral venue after political tension between the hosts and Pakistan escalated earlier this year. The neighbours have not visited each other for a bilateral cricket competition in 13 years. The final will take place at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo if Pakistan advances to the final, or at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai if they don't.
