Masandawana have qualified for the next round of the competition with a game to spare following an away point in Luanda

Mamelodi Sundowns preserved their unbeaten Caf Champions League run after Saturday’s 2-2 with Petro de Luanda.

Needing a point to seal a quarter-final berth, Masandawana took the lead through Leandro Sirino from the penalty spot after 23 minutes.

Ricardo Job levelled matters for the hosts in the 41st minute before taking the lead in the 71st minute through Rwanda’s Jacques Tuyisenge.

With barely the last attempt of the encounter, Motjeka Madisha headed home the equaliser to ensure the honours were shared.
