WATCH: Julian Green scores first goal with Stuttgart ... and it was nice

The U.S. international found the goal in his second appearance since leaving Bayern Munich for the second-division German side.

Julian Green is finally earning playing time, and he's now gotten on the score sheet for Stuttgart.

After leaving Bayern Munich during the January window, Green has made two appearances for the second-division club. It took him 65 minutes to score, but it was surely worth the wait.

Green gave Stuttgart a 2-0 lead against Fortuna on Monday evening, scoring on an incredible volley off a long pass from Anto Grgic in the 20th minute. 

The U.S. international was named to Bayern's first-team roster this past fall but failed to make a Bundesliga appearance for the club.
