Harambee Stars is currently third in Group F of 2019 Afcon qualifier after losing 2-1 away to Sierra Leone.
Ghana are at the summit of the Group after humbling Ethiopia 5-0 in Accra on Sunday. Kenya captain Victor Wanyama is upset with the way his team started the campaign, but he is optimistic of turning the fortunes around in the next match. "It is not what we had planned, we wanted to win this match but things never worked our way," Wanyama told Goal.
"As a matter of fact, we have to work harder and ensure we are back on track. Our next match is definitely going to be tough, but I am sure we can get positive result from it. We have the players, who are experienced and can get us the results we need to progress."
Harambee Stars will host Ghana's Black Stars in March next year, targeting for maximum points.
