Ulinzi Stars are set to play Bandari FC in a build-up match on Saturday as the Soldiers shape up for the new season.

Ulinzi Stars are currently in the coastal region where they have played a series of friendly matches with the local teams.

At the same time, Nyaudo challenged football administrators from the Coastal region to help nurture the abundant raw talents in the area.

Nyaudo was amazed by the untapped talent in Kwale, Mombasa and Kilifi regions during his pre-season camp with Ulinzi Stars noting that Coast region is among the biggest stakeholders in Kenyan football but only if something is done to nurture tap the talent.

“There’s a lot of talent this side and I am really impressed with what we have gained so far as a team in the preseason schedule. I believe with better management of such players, this region can have a bigger contribution to Kenyan football,” he said.

“It is so hot here. The weather has been an opponent to us but still, it is a good experience for the lads; they need to get such exposure because they will still come here to play competitive matches in future so when we are here we want to take in all the best lessons that we can,” Nyaudo told Ulinzistars.com.

Ulinzi Stars will kick off the 2018/19 KPL campaign against Vihiga United away in Bungoma.
