The competition's top scorer, nicknamed Forty, believes his side will carry on with their form to usurp their Calabar counterparts

University of Calabar Malabites will be at the receiving end of, at least, a 3-0 scoreline in the final of HiFL Nigeria, boasts Ebuka David, University of Agriculture, Makurdi Tillers captain and competition top scorer.

Both sides slug it out for the biggest prize of the first privately run collegiate games at the Agege Stadium on Saturday and UAM's biggest asset, who tops the goalscorers' chart with eight goals, believes they willd maintain their proficiency in the final third to wreak havoc on the Malabites.

"I believe we shall conquer because we've tried doing what we know how to do best," David told Goal

"I  believe they are a good team for them to be in the final but I believe I will increase my tally tomorrow, we don't win 1-0, we don't win 2-0, we do 3-0 win and more."

On their way to the final showdown in Lagos, UAM Tillers played six games. They won three, drew two and lost their only game to their counterparts from Obafemi Awolowo University.

The striker who talked up the level of the collegiate competition admitted their biggest test in the competition came in Ife.

"HiFL is different and more coordinated than NUGA. The unity, the zeal has set us apart from other teams. We won the last NUGA, some graduated but we have been able to carry on.

"The most challenging game was against OAU we went to their home, they won 5-3 and we slept over the game. We came back and we won 3-0 in the return leg."
