'The most overrated player in the world?' - Pogba’s display questioned by Gary Lineker

Paul Pogba was touted as one of the potential standout players ahead of Euro 2016, but so far the midfielder has failed to deliver for France.

The Juventus star, who has won four Serie A titles with the Italian club, has been criticised in the French press, while Didier Deschamps opted to drop him for the group game against Albania.

And in France’s last-16 clash with Republic of Ireland, Pogba once again struggled to shine in central midfield.

Former Barcelona and England striker Gary Lineker even went as far as suggesting that Pogba could be the most overrated player in the world at the moment.

When pressed on his question by TV host and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan, Lineker explained: “[He] doesn’t score many, doesn’t create much and not great defensively.”

But despite failing to make an impression at the tournament so far, Pogba has been linked with a move to Manchester United, while Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all shown an interest at some stage in the past few years.
