Thabo Nodada and Cape Town City players protest
The Citizens have moved swiftly to extend Nodada's deal after losing Aubrey Ngoma and Lehlohonolo Majoro, who recently left the club

Cape Town City midfielder Thabo Nodada has extended his contract with the ambitious outfit.

The 22-year-old has established himself as one of the Citizens' key players this season - having made 14 appearances in the PSL.

Nodada was promoted to the Mpumalanga Black Aces first team from the academy prior to the start of the 2015/16 campaign.

Local businessman John Comitis bought the PSL franchise of Aces at the end of the season and Ndada was one of the few players, who relocated to the Mother City when the club was renamed Cape Town City.

Nodada has done well to earn himself a new improved deal at the Citizens, who lost 1-0 to Free State Stars in a PSL match at the Goble Park Stadium on Saturday.

The Citizens announced that the diminutive player had been rewarded with an improved contract on Monday.
