The Olukoya Boys came out 1-0 winner in the feisty Nigeria Professional Football League derby and the midfielder feels that if they can continue to work hard together in upcoming encounters they will be victorious.
“We are very happy to collect the three points, we thank God first and I appreciate all the hard work of my teammates,” Tchato told Goal.
“We are going to play the other matches with the same mentality.
“The performance of my team today is good. We fought all through the game. So we hope to continue like this for the next games.
“Remo Stars is a very good team but we prepared very well for them. We played well, defended well, and marked well. Everybody worked together.
“We worked as a team; the reason why we have the day.''
Tchato has played second fiddle in a midfield that has Shola Brossa, Oladele Oshobe and lynchpin, Chukwuka Onuwa as first choice, but hopes to impress with the few outings handed to him by Fidelis Ilechukwu.
“I’m so happy for starting the game today; I started against Rangers and I played from the start, again, today. I will work more to keep my performance up and stay in the team."
