Sofapaka have confirmed they are interested in signing former Gor Mahia captain Musa Mohammed.

Batoto ba Mungu President Elly Kalekwa has revealed to Goal that they have already initiated talks with the defender but are yet to reach an agreement. Mohammed is currently a free agent after he returned home from Albania where he turned out for KF Tirana.

Kalekwa is however, confident that they will sign the player when the transfer window opens in June.

“Musa Mohammed is a good player and always a good player will be approached. We have already held talks with him but have not reached any agreement. I just remain hopeful that we will secure his services when the transfer window opens in June.”

Sofapaka will take on Gor Mahia in a Kenyan Premier League match on Sunday.
