Socceroos defender Milos Degenek has scored in consecutive games for Yokohama F.Marinos as he headed home his Japanese side's fifth goal in a 5-2 win over V-Varen Nagasaki in the J-League.
The victory was an important one for Yokohama who leap up to 11th with the win and Degenek savoured his moment in the sun after scoring the final goal in the 82nd minute.

Degenek's effort comes just days after he struck in a midweek cup game win over Albirex Niigata and accompanies his debut goal for the club less than a month ago against Shonan Bellmare.
The 25-year-old had prior to this flurry scored just one senior club goal and is now incredibly the highest scoring Australian named in Bert van Marwijk's preliminary 26-man Socceroos World Cup squad over the past month.
With plenty of competition in the back line and three players to be cut from the extended squad before Russia, Degenek has picked the right time to start scoring.
Degenek has made 17 appearances for the Socceroos since 2016 and played a big part in Australia's World Cup qualifying under now club coach Ange Postecoglou.
He's yet to score in the green and gold however and will no doubt he hoping his goal scoring exploits at club level extend to the national arena ahead of friendlies in early June.
