Simba SC told to prepare a fat cheque for the services of Francis Kahata

Simba SC have been told to spare a fat cheque if they want Gor Mahia midfielder, Francis Kahata.

Reports coming from Tanzania indicate that Simba have intensified their interest in signing the services of Kahata, but Gor Mahia has now slapped a ridiculous figure as they try to cling onto their prized asset.

Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr has denied reports that Kahata has already agreed on a deal to sign for Simba, but the Briton cautioned that the Tanzanian side will have to cough out a cool Sh1.3 billion to land the talented midfielder.

While Gor Mahia CEO Omondi Aduda had placed a Sh150 million price tag on Kahata, Kerr, who will dearly require the services of Kahata to defend the league and hopefully bring the Caf Confederation Cup title, as a different opinion.

“Simba have to pay big. My personal valuation (of Kahata) in Europe would be 10 million Pounds. That is what I believe he’s worth,” Kerr told Goal.

Simba are said to be willing to part with Sh10 million.
