Legendary Orlando Pirates striker Jerry Skhosana says the club legends are angry at the current players following a disappointing 2016/17 season.
The Buccaneers endured a poor season in which they finished outside the top eight in the PSL and they also failed to win a major trophy.
Sikhosana, who inspired Pirates to the 1995 Caf Champions League trophy, explained why he is not enjoying his legendary status.
“Yes, we’re angry because of the performance of the team last season," Sikhosana told the media.
"When I walk in the street, I have to answer why the team performed badly, and I can’t answer because I’m not close to the players,” he said
The former Bafana Bafana international added that Bucs players' attitude needs to improve.
“I can’t enjoy my legendary status because we all look bad when the team is not doing well. People want to know why, and I can’t answer,” he added.
“It’s all about the players’ attitude. They need to fight for that jersey and make sure that the club wins,” Skhosana concluded.
