RUMOURS: Man Utd reject Lyon bid for Memphis

The Ligue 1 side are leading the chase to sign the Netherlands international but have been knocked back by the Old Trafford club with the first offer

Manchester United have rejected a bid from Lyon for Memphis Depay, Sky Sports claims.

The Ligue 1 side have appeared as one of the favourites to land the wantaway attacker, who is also said to be coveted by Everton and AC Milan.

Reports in France had already said United had demanded €17 million from Lyon, but it has since emerged that an initial bid has been dismissed.
