Atletico Madrid are ready to challenge Chelsea to the signing of Faouzi Ghoulam, Calciomercato reports.
Chelsea have reportedly been tracking the 25-year-old, but Atletico sent their director of sport to scout him in Friday's game against Inter.
However, the Napoli left-back is currently in talks with the Serie A side over a new contract, with his current deal expiring in 2018, and is expected to reach an agreement.
