Real Madrid welcome Alaves to the Santiago Bernabeu in La Liga on Sunday night with Los Blancos hoping to continue their recent good run of form.

In their last four matches Santiago Solari's men have recorded four wins, scored 13 goals and and put in four strong performances.

The European champions are high on confidence and welcome an Alaves side to the Spanish capital who were beaten by Rayo Vallecano on Monday - the first time the Basques have suffered back-to-back defeats this season.

Latest odds

The hosts are offered at 1/5 (1.20) with bet365 to claim another victory on Sunday. Alaves meanwhile are priced at 14/1 (15.00) to record what would be only their second ever win at the Bernabeu. The draw is offered at 11/2 (6.50).

Team news

Real Madrid have no real injury concerns heading into the game although they do have a Copa del Rey semi-final in midweek so Solari could could rotate. Dani Carvajal is suspended, so Alvaro Odriozola should replace him at right-back.

Alaves have centre-back Rodrigo Ely missing, while left-back Adrian Marin is a doubt. The Basques could give a debut to new signing Diego Rolan, with the Uruguayan striker joining late on transfer deadline day.

Alaves will hope the arrival of Rolan helps with their scoring goals because whilst they start the weekend in an impressive fifth place, only four teams have scored fewer than their total of 22 goals this term.

They will have a hard time adding to that on Sunday against Real Madrid, who boast the second best home defensive record in the league - conceding just five times in ten games.

Indeed, seven of those ten league games at the Bernabeu have seen Los Blancos keep a clean sheet and they could be well placed to record another shutout this weekend.

Tips and predictions

Real Madrid are offered at 19/20 (1.95) to win to nil, with this bet paying out in four of their last five home matches in La Liga. Also worthy of consideration is the price of 6/5 (2.20) for Los Blancos to win both halves.
