The Germans have enjoyed a successful summer so far and we think they look good value to beat a new-look Sevilla side at the Emirates

It may not be the most prestigious tournament in European football, yet RB Leipzig's invitation to play in the Emirates Cup is further recognition of the enormous leaps made by the German club.

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side will be making their debut in the Champions League this year following a second-place finish in the Bundesliga, and they face the side that finished fourth in La Liga last term.

Sevilla begin the campaign with a new manager at the helm in Eduardo Berizzo and the Argentine did excellent work last season at Celta Vigo.

He seems well placed to develop Sevilla's attacking style while at the same time instilling perhaps some discipline that was lacking last term, and Paddy Power make them favourites for the game in north London.

The La Liga outfit can be backed at 6/5 (2.20) for the win, while Leipzig are offered at 9/5 (2.80) and the draw is priced at 23/10 (3.30).

Sevilla's previous matches this summer have both taken place in Japan, where the side beat Cerezo Osaka 3-1 but were defeat 2-0 by Kashima Antlers. Leipzig, meanwhile, have won the three games they have hitherto contested with two victories against lower league German opposition and a 1-0 victory over Turkish Cup holders Konyaspor.

The price for a victory for the Germans looks big, while more conservative punters might like the odds of 11/10 (2.10) for Leipzig in the Draw No Bet market. With nine players leaving the club and five coming in, as well as a new manager, there has been considerable upheavel at Sevilla.

It could take a while for Berizzo to find the right formula for his new group of players. Leipzig too have been active in the transfer market, but they have retained a core of players who helped deliver such success last season, as well as the manager, meaning they should be a little more settle and into their stride this summer.

RB Leipzig Draw No Bet at 11/10 (2.10) for a 2pt stake with Paddy Power
