Raila Odinga touches down in UK ready to cheer Gor Mahia against Everton

Former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga is among the fans who are expected to watch Gor Mahia take on Everton in a friendly match on Tuesday at the Goodison Park.

According to Goal.com sources in England, Raila, who is also the club’s patron, arrived in Liverpool on Monday ready to cheer his favorite club clash with former English champions.

Meanwhile, Goal also understands that Rwandan striker Jacques Tuyisenge is yet to link up with the rest of the squad in Liverpool.

The 2018 Gor Mahia’s top scorer and K’Ogalo’s only scorer last time the Kenyan champions played Everton in Tanzania, did not travel with the rest of the squad due to Visa hitches.

He is expected to depart for England on Tuesday, but he remains a serious doubt considering that a departure on Tuesday means he will arrive in London after an eight-hour flight, then take a two-hour train to Liverpool, just a few hours before the kicks.
