Our tipster does not expect a goal-laden game when Antonio Conte's charges travel to the Azerbaijani capital in the Champions League on Wednesday

Chelsea can get their Champions League campaign firmly back on track when they face Qarabag in Group C on Wednesday night.

The Blues were beaten 3-0 by Roma in the Italian capital last month, but Antonio Conte will be confident that his side's trip to Baku will prove to be much more fruitful as the Azerbaijani champions were crushed in the previous clash between the two teams, with a second-string Chelsea claim a superb 6-0 victory at Stamford Bridge against his side.

After seeing their Champions League debut turn into a nightmare, Qarabag will be desperate to put up a better performance against the Blues this time around and back-to-back draws against Atletico Madrid in this competition will give the Azerbaijani side confidence that they can claim their first win in the group stages.

Betfair Sportsbook go 19/2 (10.50) that Gurbanov's side achieve that objective here, while the odds compilers go 4/1 (5.0) that both sides are forced to settle for a share of the spoils in Baku.

Despite that defeat in Rome, Chelsea know that victory here will guarantee them a place in the last 16 of the competition - irrespective of the result between group leaders, Roma, and third-placed Atletico Madrid.

The Blues are brimming with belief, for they battered West Bromwich Albion 4-0 in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon and Conte's team are 1/3 (1.34) favourites with Betfair Sportsbook to get the win that they need here.

Chelsea can be backed at even money (2.0) with Betfair Sportsbook to win by at least two clear goals in the Azerbaijani capital, while the Blues are also chalked up as an even money (2.0) chance with the same firm to win without conceding against Qarabag once again.

Gurbanov's team are certainly not as experienced as their more illustrious opponents, but those recent results against Atletico suggest that Qarabag may not be as naive as they perhaps were when the group stage campaign kicked off in west London in September.

Chelsea face a crucial clash against Liverpool at Anfield next Saturday so Conte may well once again put his faith in some of his fringe players for the long trip to Baku; although the Blues should still be good enough to get the job done but, on this occasion, the goals may not flow quite as freely.

Betfair Sportsbook offer even money (2.0) that there are fewer than three goals when Qarabag host Chelsea - and it is a price that could pay dividends for punters on Wednesday night.
