The amateur side had the 24-year old to thank for, as he struck twice in the second half to help them produce a come-from-behind win against the FAM Cup side.
Having helped his side secure a second round tie against Super League side, Sharul is on cloud nine.
"I am so happy I can't describe it! We had to come back from conceding first, a penalty. We worked on our teamwork and closed the spaces, and the goals came.
"We now need to work hard as a team in training, we have to go all out as we'll be facing Melaka United. They're the better side while we're only an amateur side, but we'll do our best as it isn't easy to reach the second round," said Sharul.
Although he has just finished his tertiary studies, Sharul revealed his dream to us; to turn pro.
"If it is meant to be, then I definitely want to play professionally. Football is my passion.
"I play the sport week in and week out now," he remarked.
