Harambee Stars goalkeeper Patrick Matasi is eyeing a perfect debut in the league with his new club St. Georges.
The former Tusker FC custodian joined St. Georges in October on a three-year deal after a stellar season with both thr club and national team.
Matasi is already ‘feeling at home’ away in Ethiopia as he aims at giving his best for his new team and hit even greater heights.
"People here are friendly and helpful. I have settled already and it feels like home despite the fact that I have been here for a few days. It is a new challenge for me and I am ready for it.
"The team showed confidence in me, the only thing I can do is repay that confidence on the pitch. I do not want to set any goals yet, until the season begins, but believe you me, it will be the best."
Matasi helped Kenya claim seven points in the last three Afcon qualifiers where he has kept clean sheets.
