Kenyan Premier League side AFC Leopards is set to lose coach Dennis Kitambi, Goal has learnt.

The Tanzanian tactician has been in charge of the team since the sacking of Robert Matano, leading them to four wins, a draw and defeat in six matches.

Ingwe official Oscar Igaida has confirmed the tactician is on his way out.

“Kitambi is leaving on May 8 to Bangladesh for a coaching course; but he will also be assisting coach Stewart Hall, who is handling Saif Sporting Club. Once he is done, he will always be welcome back at Ingwe, he is a good coach.

“It is definitely a blow to us, he had made some positive changes to the team, but we cannot stop his development.”

Ingwe is currently third on the 18-team log with 17 points.
