Nzoia will kick-off their KPL quest with a match against Kariobangi Sharks next weekend

Nzoia Sugar beat Amagoro FC 3-0 in a pre-season friendly match staged on Saturday.

The Millers fielded a majority of new signings to test the squad cohesion and the latest acquisitions did not disappoint.  

Bernard Mwalala acquired Tom Teka, Patrick Otieno, George Mutimba, Dennis Wanjala, Morven Otinya, David Okoth and Kevin Munala in the January transfer window.

Patrick Kwitonda sent home a ferocious strike in the 30th minute to hand Nzoia the lead. The victors doubled their advantage five minutes later through Collins Wakhungu, whose shot proved too hard for the goalkeeper to deal with.

The Kenyan Premier League side added a third goal through Boniface Muchuma for a 3-0 win at the break.
