NSL: Ouna suffer defeat as Matano is felled

Eighteen goals were scored in the seven matches played in National Super League across the country.

GFE, Ushuru and Palos continued with their fine run as Talanta managed to get a point after failing twice. On Sunday, at Camp Toyoyo, Frank Ouna led Wazito FC suffered first defeat this season against Kisumu-based Palos FC. Morven Otinya scored a brace in the first half to ensure his team led by the first 45 minutes. Not even the Paul Karuri header could push Wazito to a comeback as they finally fell 2-1.

Former Gor Mahia midfielder Kevin 'Ade' Omondi netted twice as Police FC labored to a 2-1 win against Kibera Black Stars in the same venue. The Kibera-based side scored through Tony Baraza who capitalized on Barnabas Tiema mistake, but it turned out to be a consolation.

Vincent Ochami and former AFC Leopards, Gor Mahia man Ivan Anguyo scored a goal each to help Nairobi Stima floor Bidco United 2-1. The Thika-based side scored its consolation through Edwin Wamoleni. Finally, John Kamau recorded his first point this season after holding hosts Agro-Chemical to a barren draw. Talanta had fallen 1-0 and 5-2 to Wazito and GFE 105 respectively.
