Nakumatt striker Kepha Aswani has taken charge of the Kenyan Premier League top scorers race.

Aswani’s brace against Kakamega Homeboyz took his goal tally to 12, one better than Sofapaka and Ulinzi Stars striker, Umaru Kasumba and Stephen Waruru, who did not find the back of the net over the weekend.

Both Waruru and Kasumba have 11 goals, one better than Gor Mahia forward Meddie Kagere, Masoud Juma of Kariobangi Sharks and Chrispin Oduor (Mathare United), all, who have 10 goals.

Gor Mahia’s striker Jacques Tuyisenge and Ezekiel Okare of Sofapaka complete the top eight spot.
