AFC Leopards head coach Rodolfo Zapata is happy with the way his charges played against Nakumatt on Sunday.

Ingwe defeated the Shoppers 4-2 to register their third win in a row, and maintain their fourth place on the log. Zapata is confident that his team will continue to develop as he aims at a top three finish by the end of the season.

“Nakumatt is a good team, they played well but we played much better more so in the first half. Our plan worked, I am happy that my players stuck to it and it paid dividends. Leopards is a big team and that means we should be playing well and get results consistently.

“We just want to keep winning our matches and try and finish in those top three positions at the end. The display against Nakumatt is the type of football I like and I am very proud of the boys.”

The first leg ended in a two all draw.
