Ingwe registered their first win after a poor run of nine matches, and a first since coach Robert Matano took control at the Den. The former Sofapaka and Ulinzi Stars tactician, however, let the cat out of the bag when he guided the 'Big Cats' to dwarf Bandari at their backyard in a Kenyan Premier League match.
“We missed a number of good scoring chances but what matter is the three points. We played with some good tactical discipline and we got all three points,” revealed Matano, who joined AFC Leopards from Bidco United.
Matano will be in charge of his second match when AFC Leopards takes on Bidco United in the GOtv Shield this weekend.
