Manchester United have lodged a £25 million bid for Alexis Sanchez as they seek to pip arch-rivals Manchester City to the Arsenal forward, reports The Guardian .

Pep Guardiola is said to have a £20m offer on the table for a player who is set to be out of contract at the end of the season.

Jose Mourinho has now countered that approach, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan offered to Arsenal in an effort to help sweeten the deal.


Man Utd to rival Liverpool for Pulisic

Manchester United will rival Liverpool for Christian Pulisic if the Anfield side go in for the Borussia Dortmund teenager this summer, reports The Independent. 

The 19-year-old winger has been linked with a move to Liverpool to help replace Philippe Coutinho and reunite with former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp.

Chelsea and Manchester United will both be sweating after Calciomercato reported   that French giants PSG have joined in the race to sign Brazilian left back Alex Sandro.

The two Premier League clubs have both been linked with the Juventus defender, but the big-spending Paris outfit have the money to make a move and are looking to sign the him in June. 

The Bianconeri are open to letting him go for €50 million. 


Juve consider Darmian bid

Juventus are considering a bid for Manchester United's Matteo Darmian in order to shore up the side at full-back, claims the  Sun .

The Italians could lose Alex Sandro to Chelsea, while Stephan Lichtsteiner is also likely to leave at the end of the season. 

That would leave Juve short of options out wide, and out-of-favour Darmian would add valuable depth in defence.

Manchester City have held talks over a deal for Evans, while Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested his club will struggle to compete with the Premier League leaders  for the centre-half.

Evans, who left Old Trafford for West Brom in 2015, remains of interest for his old club, while Everton and West Ham are also watching matters.

Arsenal have stepped up their interest in Bordeaux forward Malcom as they plan for life after Alexis Sanchez, Goal understands.

The Gunners are one of three Premier League clubs interested in Malcom, with Manchester United and Tottenham also plotting a January move.

Goal understands Monaco's Thomas Lemar is still a key target for Arsenal, but the Gunners are only willing to pay up to £40 million for the winger, whose asking price is now £60m.
