The Malaysian FA (FAM) has announced the names of players called up to phase one of the 2018 U-19 AFC Championship training camp on Tuesday.

Interestingly, the 24-player list comprises 10 new faces while many of those who were in the Malaysia squad who in September finished runners up in the 2017 U18 AFF Championship, such as Kedah starlet Akhyar Rashid, will join the camp later, as they are still involved in the knockout stages of the Youth Cup and the President's Cup with their respective clubs.
