This will be the second time that Van Geneugden will be facing Harambee Stars having settled for a draw in his first meeting

Malawi captain Limbukani Mzava says that they will give Harambee Stars a run for their money when both teams clash in a friendly match on Tuesday.

Harambee Stars will host the Flames of Malawi, fresh from a 1-0 victory over Ghana on Saturday. Malawi, who will clash with the Stars for the second time in under two years, on the other hand, lost 3-0 to Morocco in Afcon qualifier.

The Lamontville Golden Arrows right-back, says that the match will not be an easy one for either side. “We know that Kenya had beaten Ghana (Saturday) so I know it won’t be an easy game but we are here to get the result. We are looking forward to tomorrow’s game,” Mzava told Goal.

The defender hopes that coach Ronny Van Leneugoen will not change the squad that lost 3-0 to Morocco as Malawi build a squad ahead of October home and away fixture against Cameroon.

“In this competing, there is no friendly because of Fifa ranking. These games are important for us. I hope we are going to use the same team we played with Morocco because we are preparing for Cameroon.”

The last three games between both teams have all ended in draws.
