Napoli have rejected Manchester United's €103 million (£91m/$116m) bid for Kalidou Koulibaly, per <a href="http://www.corrieredellosport.it/news/calcio/serie-a/napoli/2018/12/01-50554546/napoli_no_a_103_milioni_del_manchester_united_per_koulibaly/" target="_blank">Corriere dello Sport</a>. The Premier League club were keen to make Koulibaly the most expensive defender in history, as they looked to shore up their backline. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis immediately rejected the offer, however, and intends to retain the 27-year-old.

Chelsea have turned down an approach from Barcelona for defender&nbsp;Andreas Christensen, the <a href="https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/barcelona-transfer-approach-chelsea-star-13667651" target="_blank">Mirror</a> reports.&nbsp; With Samuel Umtiti injured the Catalans are looking for reinforcements&nbsp;for their back line in January, and targeted the Denmark international.&nbsp; Though Christensen has seen his minutes drop this season compared to 2017-18, the Blues are still unwilling to part with the 22-year-old.
