Team news: Man Utd vs Burnley

Here are how the teams line up in this evening's only Premier League match

<p>Burnley manager Sean Dyche was frustrated to see his side miss so many chances against Manchester United on Thursday.</p><p>The visitors were 3-0 down before Aaron Lennon netted their only goal of the game, but Dyche says his side have played worse and got better results against the Red Devils.</p><p>"We've been here a couple of times and had big results here and not had nowhere near the amount of chances we have had tonight," he said to <em>Amazon Prime</em>.</p><p>"The frustration is that we could have made blocks on the edge of the box and we didn't and they react and get a goal. It is obviously hard when they are 3-1 up but I thought the mentality was good. Second half we took the game on and tried to get something from it."</p>

Dyche frustrated despite Burnley's good mentality

<p>Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay believes his side's first-half performance against Burnley was their best under new coach Ralf Rangnick.&nbsp;</p><p>The Scotland international was one of the stars of the show as the Red Devils ran out 3-1 winners. </p><p>"Probably first-half as a team [best display under Rangnick]. We were a bit flat second-half for whatever reason," he told <em>Amazon Prime</em>. </p><p>"We need to get that for a full 90 minutes which we haven't really had this year. But we are learning and adapting. </p><p>"The game against Newcastle was difficult and we have to bounce back from that. The manager said we set the record for the most amount of turnovers in the league. We had to keep the ball better."</p>

McTominay: Man Utd's best performance under Rangnick

<p>Manchester United have taken 14 points from their last six games, having won four and drawn two under Michael Carrick and Ralf Rangnick. </p><p>That is 10 more than they managed in their final six under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, when they won one, drew one and lost four. [Source: Opta Sports].</p>

Man Utd in better form than under Solskjaer

<p>After a goalless second half, Manchester United have secured the three points at Old Trafford.</p><p>Ralf Rangnick's team are now six games without defeat in the Premier League. </p><p>That win lifts United to sixth in the table and level on points with West Ham, who have a marginally better goal difference. Burnley, however, end 2021 in the relegation zone.</p>

<p>Manchester United are pressing for another goal against the visitors.</p><p>They have had 16 shots so far in this game, six of which have hit the target.</p><p>Burnley, meanwhile, have had eight attempts and just two on target.</p>

<p>It has been an exciting game so far, with both teams finding the net in the first 45 minutes.</p><p>Scott McTominay broke the deadlock with a goal from the edge of the box before Jadon Sancho worked his way into the area and found the bottom corner.</p><p>Cristiano Ronaldo then applied an easy finish to put his side far ahead, but the visitors responded immediately through Aaron Lennon.</p>
