The final nominees in <a href="http://www.goal.com/en/news/fifas-the-best-awards-2018-when-is-it-who-are-the-nominees/xvbq9mb6ywyu1j6zz9xbwdbuk" target="_blank">The Best Men's Coach category</a> are former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, who clinched a third successive Champions League trophy with Los Blancos last season, France's World Cup-winning manager Didier Deschamps and Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic, whose team were beaten finalists at&nbsp;Russia&nbsp;2018. Among the coaches to miss out on the final three slots were Pep&nbsp;Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, Gareth Southgate and Diego Simeone. Jose Mourinho was not nominated for the award.

Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Best Men's Award for the last three years, but looks like he – and former La Liga rival Messi – are <a href="http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/will-messi-ronaldo-be-attending-fifas-the-best-award/1xsjosxgpimq81vdrlezk70bh0" target="_blank">absent for tonight's festivities</a>. Messi was snubbed for the top-three of the Men's Award which consists of Ronaldo, Mohamed Salah and Luka Modric.&nbsp; Antoine Griezmann, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe make up the rest of the longlist, though Modric is a clear frontrunner to pick up the award after captaining Croatia to the final of the World Cup as well as having a pivotal role in winning the Champions League with Real Madrid. Also, Ronaldo missing out on the ceremony is a major hint that he won't be picking up the award – he never usually shows up to award shows that he loses out on!&nbsp;
