Europa League group stage seeding ⚽️

The Europa League groups have been drawn, and while Arsenal and Chelsea may be happy with their opponents, they won't necessarily enjoy the air miles. Celtic and Rangers have the rougher end of the <g class="gr_ gr_204 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="204" id="204">stick,</g> and may need some 'glory, glory' nights if they are to make it through to the knockout stages.&nbsp; As for the other groups, there are some lovely encounters shaping up, with Group F looking particularly interesting; AC Milan will take on amateur Luxembourg side Dudelange, as well as Olympiakos and Real Betis.&nbsp; Group H, too, will have the 'hipsters' happy, as Lazio, Marseille, Eintracht Frankfurt and Apollon lock horns. Arsenal and Chelsea will be happy to have avoided major teams, but they both face some long trips on Thursday nights. The Gunners' visit to Sporting in Portugal will not be too taxing, but trips to Azerbaijan and Ukraine to face Qarabag and Vorskla will not appeal to Unai Emery. Chelsea, meanwhile, need to travel to Greece, Belarus and Hungary for games against PAOK, BATE, and Vidi; Maurizio Sarri is unlikely to be happy. As for Celtic, they've been drawn into something approaching the Group of Death - both RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig are fine teams, though they have played and beaten Rosenborg already this season. And Steven Gerrard may well be cursing his luck, with games against Villarreal, Rapid Wien and Spartak Moscow unlikely to offer too many easy points.

British sides have a mixed bag

Dudelange have been drawn in the same group as AC Milan.&nbsp; The Luxembourg side are from such a small area that their entire population is 25% of the capacity of the San Siro, where they will face the Italian giants.

Arsenal are in the competition for the second season in succession after missing out on a place in the Champions League. It's been a tough few seasons for the Gunners and they are undergoing a period of transition following the departure of iconic boss Arsene Wenger.
