Liberty Professionals have completed the signing of their former defender Edwin Tuffour Frimpong from Asante Kotoko as a free agent.
The 27-year-old failed to find a starting place in Kotoko's setup and has now made a return to a club where his career began, signing a one-and-a-half-year deal.
Frimpong becomes coach Reginald Asante Boateng's first major signing of the second transfer window.
The player admits there have been several challenges in his career but believes he can achieve his aims with the latest move.
“It's great to be back after three years away with Kotoko. I believe things have gone the opposite direction I aimed at but I can still make it if only I’m serious regardless what has happened,” Tuffour said.
“I thank everyone at Liberty for the new opportunity they have handed me and I'm ready to do the work wholeheartedly to achieve something meaningful for my career. What has happened is past so I'm focusing on the future," he added.
Tuffour may likely mark his debut for Liberty on Wednesday when they travel to Fosu Gyeabour Park to face Bechem United.
