KPL Transfers: Sofapaka raid Chemelil Sugar to sign goalkeeper Richard Aimo

2009 Kenyan Premier League champions Sofapaka have completed the signing of Chemelil Sugar custodian Richard Aimo.

Batoto ba Mungu have moved swiftly to cover the position after the exit of Mathew Kigonya and former AFC Leopards man Wycliffe Kasaya. Aimo's exit from the sugar millers is a blow to the Francis Baraza led side, considering the fact that he is building a team to challenge for a top ten position next season.

Reports have it that the former champions are eyeing Wazito FC man Martin Musalia to deputize Aimo.
