KPL transfers: Nakumatt striker eyeing Oman switch

Nakumatt lead striker Kepha Aswani has received an offer to sign for a top side in Oman, Goal can reveal.

The much travelled Aswani has also revealed that former club AFC Leopards are interested for his services almost half a season after he left The Den. Aswani admits that he has been holding talks with Ingwe chairman Dan Mule over a possible return but all this will depend on whether he signs for the Oman-based outfit.

"I have a very good offer from Oman and will most probably travel on July 3 to discuss personal terms with the club. If all goes well then I will sign a contract with them."

In regards to AFC Leopards, Aswani said, "Yes...it is true that they are after my services again. I have been in constant talk with chairman (Mule) but there is nothing tangible to reveal as at now because my focus is to travel to Oman."

Aswani has so far scored seven goals for the Shoppers this season - six in Kenyan Premier League and one in GOtv Shield.
