KPL transfers: Gor Mahia to send two players on loan

Gor Mahia have confirmed that two players will leave for greener pastures but on loan in the 2018 season.

K’Ogalo CEO Omondi Aduda has revealed to Goal that Jacob Uyoga and Maqbul Mohammed will be loaned out so as to get enough playing time.

“We will send Jacob Uyoga and Maqbul Mohammed on loan as we aim at shaping them for future assignments. As it stands we have made most of our signings, so unless something happens, we will not buy.”

The league champions have confirmed they have parted ways with striker Timothy Otieno and Mike Simiyu. “Otieno's (Timothy) contract with us has expired, and unfortunately we will not renew it.

"We wish him the best in his future endeavors and thank him for the services he has rendered to us. "Mike Simiyu is also out, like Otieno his contract has expired.”

K’Ogalo have already signed defender Charles Momanyi from Kakamega Homeboyz, Humphrey Mieno - who was released by Tusker, Wesley Onguso from Sofapaka and Lawrence Juma from Nzoia Sugar.

Gor Mahia will represent the country in Caf Champions League next season.
