Gor Mahia have tied down keeper Boniface Oluoch to a three-year contract.

Club CEO Omondi Aduda has revealed to Goal that the Harambee Stars keeper will now stay at the club until the end of 2021 after agreeing to extend his stay. “We have reached a deal to have Oluoch play for us for the next three years.

“His contract was running down in January but he (Oluoch) has agreed to extend the same until the start of 2021. We want to wish him all the best at the club.”

Aduda also confirmed that the club is close to renewing contracts for defenders Karim Nizigiyimana and Innocent Wafula. “Both players have a similar case like Oluoch, because their contracts are coming to an end in January.

"We have agreed as an office to engage them for a possible extension and that is what we are doing. I strongly believe that the two players will renew their deals before we end the year, the talks are positive.”

On the signings of both Kenneth Muguna from KF Tirana and Shafik Batambuze, formerly of Singida United, Aduda said, “We held a technical meeting a day ago that approved we bring the two players on board, so we are also finalising on the same and they should be our players soon.”

Gor Mahia will represent the country in Caf Champions League by virtue of winning the league.
