KPL transfers: Champions Gor Mahia in the market for a proven striker

Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia is in the market for a new striker.

K’Ogalo has already sealed the services of stars Kenneth Muguna and Shafik Batambuze on a three and two-year contracts respectively. Deputy Secretary General Ronald Ngala says the team is still in the market for a striker and might release several players depending with the number they sign.

“Yes, it is true that we are in the market for a striker, we want to sharpen our attacking department and ensure that we get more goals in the coming season. We are going to take part in several competitions and will need a proven goal scorer to help us in attack.

“Definitely when we bring in players we will release some, but that does not mean we are selling them. We will find clubs for them to go on loan to ensure they get playing time,” Ngala told Goal in an interview.

Gor Mahia will represent the country in Caf Champions League, defend their league crown as well as fight for the FKF Shield Cup.
